WhatsApp declares no talks with Google for a purchase

If yesterday we talked about the alleged negotiations between the company Google and charismatic messaging tool WhatsApp , today we deny. And is that those responsible for this application have not wanted to continue feeding the now hoax that circulated on the Internet and claiming that Google had raised its purchase an amount about one billion dollars. Anything that goes against the philosophy of WhatsApp and already has been repeated in the past with other companies allegedly involved in your purchase.

The denial comes from sources within the company itself WhatsApp. Specifically its development chief, Neeraj Arora, who has clarified the matter to AllThingsD specialized environment. So, said that WhatsApp is not maintaining sales negotiations with Google, inadvertently further comment or statements on the subject. Something that, on the other hand, not surprising given the secrecy to which we are accustomed to this company.

And, despite the rumors of your purchase, first by Facebook during this past winter, and now by Google, it seems that the creators of WhatsApp remain true to their principles, which have proven several times. Recently stated that this tool was created for the purpose of contacting family and friends in a useful and practical, avoid relying on other companies or thinking about selling. Something that came to describe as "thinking about divorce before marriage." And is that for now the course of this application seems to keep growing in number of users and, since last March, also benefits, since leaving behind his benevolence when renewing subscriptions and free for randomly a year to users whose trial period was over.

With all this, it is clear that independent WhatsApp remains true to his own concept, so it will not, as had been rumored, to serve the alleged injection new messaging tool from Google. A project that has been given the name of Google Babel (or Bubble according to some media) and would try to unite and gather under a single tool all messaging services company in Mountain View. A move that would have been a great number of users, as it is estimated that WhatsApp is used by nearly 300 million users in over 100 countries worldwide.

Another question which means AllThingsD has confirmed that one of the creators of WhatsApp, Jan Koum, speaking at an event organized by the publication next week. A venture to which we must be tuned for the next steps of this charismatic and media communication tool that is now available on all platforms for smartphones current and, hopefully, continue generating buzz.
